City Council will hold a vote on January 24th to bring the life saving services currently contracted to VBLS in under Virginia Beach EMS Services. VBLS has been providing this service for 82 years and Shadowlawn voted last to unanimously support saving VBLS. Any individual emails of support can be sent to the City Clerk at RHFraser@vbgov.com for distribution to all of Council.
The Shadowlawn Civic League is a private, community resource that offers programs and collaborates with the City of Virginia Beach to meet civic, social, recreational and cultural needs of Shadowlawn and its neighbors.
Our goal is to keep everyone in Shadowlawn abreast of the latest neighborhood projects being planned by the city and to provide a resource for neighbors to help each other and residents to take advantage of all the benefits living in Shadowlawn offers.
